Discover Tanzania on an extraordinary journey designed for those seeking true adventure, a deep connection with nature, and an encounter with a fascinating culture. From the wild heart of the National Park to the vibrant experience of the first village in Tanzania and diving in the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean, this itinerary is a perfect mix of excitement, discovery, and relaxation.

Suggested Itinerary

Arrival

You’ll find me at the airport upon your arrival, where we’ll finally meet in person and begin this wonderful adventure together.

We will explore the National Park on a stunning 3-day safari, immersing ourselves in breathtaking landscapes and encountering four of the renowned “Big Five” of the savannah.

Maasai tribe village

We will spend 3 days at a Maasai village, immersing ourselves in their culture, sharing meals with them, and participating in their daily activities, while also visiting nearby Swahili villages.

We will visit the very first village in Tanzania, from which the area later developed into one of the most important commercial hubs

relax on the beach

We will spend the day by the sea, enjoying the stunning crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean, diving and savoring traditional local dishes and delicious fresh tropical fruit juices

The last day we will take you to the airport fot the return home.

Travel Details

Day 1/3 Safari

Upon your arrival at Dar Es Salaam airport, after collecting your luggage, I will be there to welcome you, ready to head directly to Saadani National Park, the only national park that overlooks the Indian Ocean.

Saadani Park is classified as a lion conservation unit, and its beaches are an important nesting site for the endangered green sea turtles.

In this park, you will find 4 of the famous “Big Five”, with only the rhinoceros missing.

Accommodation will be in luxurious tents, designed with elegance and attention to detail, where you can relax and enjoy life in the savannah during the safari.

Days 4/6 Maasai Tribe

We will spend these days discovering the Maasai people, their traditions, and their way of life, savoring their dishes, accompanying the cows to pasture in the morning, and welcoming them back in the evening, milking them together with the women. We will visit their traditional homes and learn how they prepare their food. We will go to the local market and enjoy grilled meat in the Maasai style, strolling through the local stalls, admiring the lifestyle and coexistence of different tribes. Accommodation will be in a house where I also live.

Days 7/8 history

We will visit the very first village in Tanzania, from which the area later developed into one of the most important commercial hubs.

A fishing village and its market, admire the sunset over the salt flats, and explore an important archaeological site in Tanzania. We’ll also have the chance to walk along the beach and encounter the monkeys that inhabit these enchanting places.

Days 9/10 relax on the beach and markets

We will spend the last two days in complete relaxation between the pool and the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean, in Dar es Salaam. We’ll enjoy delicious food and drink freshly picked tropical fruit juices. On the final day, we’ll have the chance to visit the local markets before returning and savoring our last moments on the beach and by the pool.

Day 11 greetings and Return

We will have our last day together, we will greet each other and I’ll take you to the airport to go back home.
